Team advises Federal Government Departments on Open Access
On 23 and 24 October 2008, Professor Anne Fitzgerald and other auPSI team members attended two conferences to advise federal government departments on the benefits of adopting an open access policy and in particular, on the use of Creative Commons licences.
At these conferences over the two days, the following federal government departments were represented: Attorney-General’s Department, Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (DIISR), IP Australia, Geoscience Australia and the Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO).
